Mixtape Update
My new free mixtape is coming along and is more than half way completed. I'm dedicating this mixtape to Anthony Acosta, aka "Heaven Rider" and also the 928 area. With this mixtape I'm hoping to help Heaven Rider live forever by passing his story on to as many people as I can while also plugging Yuma's spot on the map.

We Take For Granted
Every day someone dies, but we never thinking its going to happen to some one we know and we take opportunities to cherish our loved ones for granted. Take time out of your busy day to say I love you!
Today my sons 15 year best friend, died after being a victim of a "hit and run" heading home after leaving my house. My prayers go out to his family!
"Anthony Acosta Jr. passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011. He was born December 29, 1995 in California, and has been a Yuma resident since the 5th grade.
Anthony was a freshman at Gila Ridge High School. He enjoyed wrestling and in middle school he won the city championship for his weight class. He also enjoyed football and most of all he loved BMX riding with his friends. Anthony always had a smile and was a very charming and charismatic young man. He was a wonderful big brother and role model to his sisters. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Alyssa Hiller; stepfather, Richard Hiller; father, George Anthony Acosta; sisters, Julie and Clarissa Acosta; aunt, Anabel Garcia and her two children Marcus and Anabel Garcia.
A viewing will take place Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Yuma Mortuary. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. also at Yuma Mortuary.
Reception to follow at Fraternal Order of Eagles between 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. 225 S 1st Avenue, Yuma, AZ. Parking lot adjacent to City Hall. Please sign the guestbook at www.yumasun.com/obitaries"

Indie or Industry
Quick questions; answer these question in your own opinion.
1. What makes a song mainstream? Is it the song content/topic, the label it originated from or just the fact its on the radio?
2. What is the difference between indie and underground or is it all the same?
3. What do you prefer more industry, indie or underground? and why?
4. If you could run a radio show, how would you make your show the best? More talking, Less talking, more interviews with selecting artist, or the songs played?
I'm curious to hear you answers.
